The first part of the project consisted on a series of drawings. There is not such thing as express your ideas on paper and that’s exactly what we did. The purpose of this project is to help elementary school children from ages 6-8 years old. We wanted to taught geography in a way that has never been taught before. Football is the most played sport all ever the world, children grow up dreaming of becoming superstars and play the sport they love.
For this reason, we decided to create a board game that involved classic and modern football players from all over the world. These players are the most known and the most skillful that ever played the game of football.
As expected, not all countries have or had a player that was or is known all over the world. Therefore, for the countries that don’t have a very famous player, we decided to represent such country in the stands section. In this section behind the “Goal Box” there are fans with flags that represent those countries.
As it can be seen from the drawing, each player and flag has a number, this number will indicate what player is chosen.
